Recently I have come across these events.

a) A pastor whose eldest son , 26 years old, died. ( he just obtained his PHD within 3 years)

b) A successful christian businessman, who lost his only son in an accident.

c) Another pastor, whose eldest married son died

d) A pastor whose very loving wife died.


To me, this sounds like a test of faith. If what you hold dearest to your heart is taken away from you, will you still hold on to your faith or give up?
